Infant and Childcare Services

Alliance Care's commitment to you, the parent, is that we will provide the best possible caregiver we can find to care for your daughter or son.  This is much more than just words.  We have put the most rigorous Personnel Screening process in place, a detailed Employee Certification program and a Quality Control and Supervison by our on-staff Registered Nurse (RN).

Personnel Screening: Years of experience of lead Alliance Care to an industry leading screening process for our employees.  First, we require that any prospective employees have at least 5 years of verifiable caregiving experience in the United States.  The prospective employees must provide family references so that we can assess their manner and likeability.  Next, all prospective employees must provide the following:

    - Clear criminal background check from a police department,

    - Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) training certificate,

    - Current clear TB exam results,

    - Current CPR and First Aid certification, and

    - 5 years of employment history.

If prospective employees have this information they can proceed to the application process.  The first step in the application process is a technical qualification test administered by our RN.  Prospective Caregivers must pass this difficult test to be employees of Alliance Care.  Currently 50% of prospective CNA applicants are unable to pass the test.

The next step in the screening process is the application and interview stage.  During this time we gather a detailed history of the employee and assess their ability to communicate clearly and understand the requirements of care.  If prospective employees pass the application and interview process they move to Alliance Care's Orientation program.  In this program, either the RN or the owner of Alliance Care conducts a detailed training and orientation.  This process which normally lasts several hours allows us to talk with our prospective employees about Alliance Care rules and procedures as well as provide them a written copy of our detailed requirements.  Our Orientation Manual was developed over many years and details many of the "lessons learned" in our business.  Upon successful completion of the Orientation Process our new Employees are now ready to be Certified in the various specialty areas of care.

Employee Certification Process:  Alliance Care has developed an excellent reputation for providing personnel that are highly skilled in specialty areas of care.  Among the specialties we excel in are:  Hospice Care, Infant/Child Care, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, Parkinson's Care, Huntington's Care, and many others too numerous to mention.  Again, these are more than words that we speak.  Our Certification Process provides both "classroom" and "on-the-job training" for caregivers BEFORE they provide care.  Alliance Care medical professionals have constructed a in-depth training and orientation to the specific care specialties.  Alliance Care also requires a minimum of 12-hours per year of continous education per year from our employees.

Quality Control and RN Supervision:

t
he training of your infants caregiver is specifically focused on your infant or child and  how to support them and to help you provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort.  All Alliance Care employees are licensed, bonded and insured for your protection.  Unlike many other providers, all Alliance Care Caregivers are employees of Alliance Care and are supervised by our on-staff Registered Nurse (R.N.).  Alliance Care's Registered Nurse will design and monitor a care plan tailored to your needs and visit you regularly in your home to monitor your care.  Supervisor visits are usually completed every 60 days and the nurse remains on call 24-hrs each day for consultation.

Most other Home Care companies simply do not make the investment in this level of care and quality.  Like no one else, we are focused on you receiving the highest quality of care.
